In a major step that aims to further develop the services side of its business, Canon Europe acquired Lifecake, a startup that offers a photo-sharing app (Apple Store and Google play) aimed at parents with young children.
With this movement, Canon’s executives say, that it’s a “major step” in the development of the company’s digital consumer services business and its ambition to play a part in every image taken no matter what device is being used.
