The experience of Launch48 Weekend, a 2-day event of building web startups with people from a range of backgrounds and different sets of skills, will be organised for the first time in Athens, Greece.
The goal is simple: pitch, build and launch a startup in 48 hours.
In collaboration with Launch48 and Colab, Ekonomia Consultants will be organising the event on 10-12 January 2014. Since it is the first time Launch48 is going to Greece, an economic crisis-stricken country, the organisers have decided to keep the ticket at their lowest. The event will be bilingual, Greek and English.
The whole weekend will cost only 25 euros (student ticket: 20 euros). During that time participants will receive:
– 5 meals
– 5+ mentors
– support from experienced trainers
On Friday, January 10th, the business ideas will be pitched, participants will vote on ideas and teams will be formed.
On Saturday, January 11th, after a short introductory, practical session on the Business Model Canvas and lean startup methodologies, work will start on the startups, mentors will work with each team to take them through brainstorming, prototyping, and business plan development.
And on Sunday, January 12th, when all the work on the startups is finished, participants will present at the Launch48 demo session in front of attendees, mentors and accelerators.
