Seed funding $1.2M for e-commerce aggregator iPrice

iPrice, a Malaysia-based aggregator of ecommerce sites in Southeast Asia that multitude them into a single shopping destination, raised the amount of $1.2 million in seed funding. The whole process was led by Asia Venture Group, and had the participation of 500 Startups, IMJ Investment Partners, Venturra Capital, F2 Capital and Startstrike Ventures.

iPrice, which launched in October 2014, allows online consumers to discover and shop for products in an intuitive way, since it focuses on narrowing down the vast volume of products online to suit a user’s preference. It has already signed on over 150 merchants and hosts a catalogue of over 15 million aggregated products from different ecommerce sites across seven markets: Malaysia, Indonesia,  Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and Hong Kong.
