In fact, the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron met with 43 CEOs, one of the network’s largest institutional investors, such as Public Investment Funds, Private Equity Funds and Asset Managers who are campaigning to accelerate the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon economy.
The French president’s initiative is based on the belief that if investments put the environment first, it will have a positive impact on the economy as well. Gradually, moreover, it is observed that more and more investors and companies adopt a sustainable concept and practice, aiming at reducing the environmental footprint.
The country was represented by the CEO of the Superfund, Grigoris Dimitriadis, who pointed out that only with international collaborations can the greatest threat to the planet today be effectively addressed.
