TechPeaks hosted last Friday its Demo Day, during which were announced the 5 business ideas that are offered the €50k grant and the possibility of extending their stay in Trento for 12 more months (in alphabetic order):

The jury of investors jury composed of two managers of the largest Business Angel networks in Italy, Luca Canepa (counselor for IBAN) and Marco Fabio Nannini (Managing Director of IAG), a local entrepreneur with more than 15 years experience in IT and biotech R&D, Ambrogio Monetti, a business manager of a public incubator, our partner PoliHub, Rasha Mozil, and Evan Nisselson, TechPeaks’ advisor and mentor as well as investor with LDV Capital.
Overall, TechPeaks’ second edition recorded the following numbers:
- 47 people from 14 countries
- 40+ among tutors and mentors who came over to Trento
- 30+ ideas invalidated
- 21 projects pitched on demo day
- 38% were created in TechPeaks
- 33% of Alpinists reinforced their team thanks to the program
- 2 teams already raised money, 4 more won awards of some sort
