HDB and HBio are working together to boost the biohealth industry
The aim is to close the funding gaps and achieve interconnection with international ecosystems
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Hellenic Development Bank-HDB and the Hellenic BioCluster (HBio) with the aim of developing and encouraging entrepreneurship in the health and biotechnology sector through innovation and extroversion.
The two organisations will explore partnerships in the framework of the support of innovative entrepreneurship and export development. Through the exchange of knowledge, synergies between the actions organized by Hellenic BioCluster and the corresponding HDB actions will be examined.The aim is to identify in the best possible way the needs and funding gaps of the sector, highlighting the good practices in Greece and abroad, while supporting entrepreneurship and innovation in the health sector.
Emphasis will be given to the formation of the conditions for the acceleration of collaborations between Greek companies for the creation of international competitive schemes, while services will be offered – with schemes that will be created – to promote the contribution and role of the Greek life sciences industry in the global community.
Also, HBIO members will be given access to the digital networking/matchmaking platform “InnoAgora – powered by HDB”, with the aim of connecting with international ecosystems, further enhancing extroversion, raising investment capital, as well as finding trading partners.
