EBAN Congress 2023: Paradise” for Business Angels
One of the most important events for Startups and investors will be hosted by Greece and there Greek Startups will have the opportunity to meet with over 500 aspiring investors
The 2023 Pan-European Conference of Business Angels (EBAN Congress 2023), the most important annual event for Startups looking for investment funds, will be hosted in Athens on 24-26 April 2023.
According to an announcement, more than 500 investors from all over the world are expected in Greece to meet with Greek Startups and get to know the Greek ecosystem of Startup entrepreneurship
The organization was claimed and undertaken by the Hellenic Investment and Foreign Trade Company (Enterprise Greece) and the Hellenic Business Angels Network (HeBAN). The conference will be held in collaboration with the European Business Angels Network (EBAN).
The announcement of this important distinction for our country was made during the Annual Conference of EBAN 2022, in Cork, Ireland, by the Director of EBAN, Jacopo Losso, in the presence of the CEO of Enterprise Greece, Georgios Filiopoulos and the co-founder of the Hellenic Business Angels Network (HeBAN), Panagiotis Ketikidis.

Funding to Greek Startups more than tripled in 2021 and the first Greek unicorn – Vivawallet – entered into an agreement with JP Morgan at the beginning of the year, which is expected to happen with other companies in the near future. At the same time, leading multinationals – such as Microsoft, Amazon, NTT Data – are investing in Greece, further strengthening its position and turning it into a hub of technology and innovation in Southeastern Europe.”, stated the CEO of Enterprise Greece, Georgios Filiopoulos.

It is recalled that on 23 and 24 June 2022, the Hellenic International Business Angels Summit (HIBAS-2022) is held in Athens, organized by the Hellenic Investment and Foreign Trade Company (Enterprise Greece), the Hellenic Business Angels Network (HeBAN) and the European Business Angels Network (EBAN).
During the conference, 50 investors from all over the world will have a private meeting with Greek Startups.
