Berlin-based firm Delivery Hero announced that bought Turkish Yemek Sepeti and Greek e-food.gr.
The deal for Yemek Sepeti costed $ 589 mn and the cost for e-food.gr is still unknown.
According to Delivery Hero, e-food.gr has about 300.000 monthly online orders and Yemek Sepeti over 10 mn.
Rocket Internet, which controls 40% of Delivery Hero, is involved in the Greek market with both Clickdelivery.gr and e-food.gr. So it is very likely to lead into a merge of these companies.
