Travelplanet24 and Airtickets decided to join their power in order to enhance their placement in existing and future markets and both have the ambition to be leaders.
The merge of two companies puts them in the five biggest and most successful e-travel agencies in Europe, with total annual sales of 500 mn euros. Only in March, both companies had 4.749.407 visitors in their websites and they both sold over 206.000 tickets.
Philip Brinkman will be the CEO of the new company, as Dimitrios Kontogeorgos will be the President of Board.
The two companies will keep their unique profile, but they will have joint strategy. They will enhance their services to their customers and will keep offices in Greece, Russia, Romania, Poland, Turkey and Brazil.
