Rubicon Global recently raised funding of $50 million.
The startup connects its website and mobile apps to local waste haulers and recycling businesses to customers who need their services.
The app allows businesses and residential customers to book garbage pickup within an hour. The investment round was led by Nima Capital and was joined by Goldman Sachs, Wellington Management Co. etc.
After the funding, Rubicon’s Global Inc. valuation reached $500 million.
