Greek Wealthyhood raised 750,000 pounds sterling from Genesis Ventures

The first DIY investment app of Greek origin secured new funding to upgrade fintech wealth management

Wealthyhood, the Startup that has developed an app for smart investment management, secured 750,000 pounds sterling in funding in a pre-seed round. The funding round was led by the first Greek business angel fund, Genesis Ventures with general partners Dimitris Maroulis and Stergios Athanasiadis, who are also managers of VC, as well as with the participation of other angel investors.

The Startup will use the new capital to put its technology at the service of all those who want to use their money in a smart way by investing it in the long term. This includes further simplifying and personalizing the services of the FinTech app and specifically in the field of wealth-building.

So far, Wealthyhood has managed to form the first DIY investment app, which helps build wealth from multiple income sources, pointing the way and streamlining the way this can be done for younger generations of investors like Millennials who avoid banks and prefer the autonomy of an app.

The Startup based in London was founded by Alexandros Christodoulakis and Konstantinos Faliagas and has made a steep scale-up, in addition to the distinction it received in 2021 in the International Innovation Competition of Alpha Bank, FinQuest, counting a total of 50 employees and adding another funding after raising 250,000 euros from private investors last year, which marks its rapid growth. Now, its experienced executives continue their successful course in Europe, “looking” at strengthening the company’s platform and even more milestones.
