More than 300 companies and 40 speakers took part in the largest conference on sports management and one of the largest in Europe
The largest conference on sports management and one of the largest in Europe, the “Front Runners in Sports Management 4.0“, was completed.
The conference was organized by the Sports Management Society of Deree – American College of Greece with great success along with the award-winning ActiveMedia Group and the Center of Excellence in Food, Tourism & Leisure, The American College of Greece on Thursday, March 31, Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2, 2022.
The Deputy Minister of Culture & Sports, Mr. Lefteris Avgenakis opened the conference, while the Minister of Tourism, Mr. Vassilis Kikilias, and the Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy in Athens, Mr. David Burger, addressed their address via video, while the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Sofia Zacharaki participated in a panel where the first survey on Sports Tourism in Greece for 2021 was presented.
More than 40 eminent speakers, 30% of whom were women, met at Front Runners 4.0 with more than 600 participants from 24 different countries and more than 300 companies related to the sports industry followed the latest developments in the field of sports and sports tourism.
