The amount of 1.8 million dollars was raised by the cleaning startup Cleanify in seed funding which came from 500 Startups, Kapor Capital, Great Oaks etc. Cleanify, instead of offering its own on-demand cleaning services, aggregates the listings of existing cleaners.
Its already available in 10 markets in the United States and Canada, and is already seeing $1 million in gross monthly revenue. Cleanify recently acquired the Canadian operations of Berlin-based Helping.
