Junior Achievement Greece, the non-profit educational organization of entrepreneurship programs/competitions for pupils and students, is launching a new institution in order to support the entrepreneurial efforts of student groups in public schools with an emphasis on small, frontier and special junior and senior high schools throughout Greece.

The organization invited leading personalities from the political, business, journalistic and sports worlds to become Inspirational Mentors in student “Startups”, in order to congratulate, inspire, empower and advise children in their effort to create their own “business”.

According to Junior Achievement Greece, the response was enthusiastic and the new institution of Inspirational Mentors is starting dynamically in the context of a campaign entitled “We support the students “Startuppers” who change Greece.”

The student “Startup” is created during the implementation of the educational program for teenagers, “Virtual Enterprise“, which is held for the third consecutive year under the auspices of The President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou.

As stated in the announcement, the President of the Hellenic Republic accepted, with great pleasure, the invitation to become Inspirational Mentor (1st EPAL Didymoteichou)  as well as the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis (Special education school in Nea Nikopoli, Kozani).

A total of 36 Inspirational Mentors will have two meetings in January and February with their team (online or in person), promoting it in the online competition “Best Promo Video 2022” (March 18) and will participate in the awarding of the Panhellenic Competition “Best Virtual Enterprise 2022” that will take on Friday, May 6, 2022.

“We would like to thank the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and all the Inspirational Mentors who will offer great inspiration to the students of the current school year as “businessmen”. With this great support, children will do their best by overcoming the difficulties that arise from the less privileged environment in which they create their own ‘start up'”, said the President of JA Greece, Markos Veremis.
