The amount of €82.5 million was raised in a Series C round by the German startup Kreditech, which builds a suite of credit and banking products for consumers who have little or no credit history.
The funding process was led by J.C. Flowers and had the participation of Amadeus Capital Partners, Värde Partners, HPE Growth Capital and Blumberg Capital.
With the new capital, Kreditech is planning to continue adding more products and geographies to its platform, since today it operates in Poland, Spain, Czech Republic, Mexico and Russia.
