The Building for Recovery Plan, a €27 billion Capital Plan that aims to generate something more than 45,000 new jobs through the building of new roads, schools, rail links, hospitals, flood defences and broadband networks, was outlined by the Irish Government.
It is noted that the plan could be leveraged up to 42 billion Euros with the partnership from the private sector. It is estimated that an amount of about €3.01 billion will be allocated to capital projects under the Department of Jobs, which includes a total investment of around 250 million Euros in creating business parks and advance facilities.
