Trustev, an e-commerce ID and fraud detection player whose technology protects businesses and consumers from fraud was acquired by TransUnion, a Chicago-based company for an amount of 44 million dollars. The two companies together create a very powerful combination of software intelligence and rich data to stop online fraud.
