Huge funding $44,2M for LittleBits

The amount of 44,2 million dollars in a Series B funding that was led by DFJ Growth, was raised from LittleBits, a maker of electronic components that children and designers can use in order to create everything from toy robots to lightweight industrial products.

Morgan Stanley, Alternative Investment Partners, Grishin Robotics, Wamda Capital, Foundry Group, True Ventures, VegasTechFund, Two Sigma Ventures and Khosla Ventures participated at the funding procedure. The new capital will be used for empowering a number of new growth areas, such as education.
