Neurons acquired the Greek platforms VisualEyes and Loceye
These are developing eye-tracking analyses to predict the effectiveness of marketing projects, while their acquisition will mean improving the AI behavioral models of customers
The Danish-based applied neuroscience firm Neurons acquired two competitors, VisualEyes and Loceye. This acquisition brings to Neurons 35,000 new customers, with an additional 1,000 expected each month. At the same time, this acquisition will allow the platform to focus on the use of artificial intelligence to accurately predict human emotions and behavior. This move is expected to also enhance the company’s competitive advantage and dramatically increase the platform’s growth and accuracy in predicting customer movements and choices, revolutionizing the way brands do business.
Specifically, the platform’s technology enables partner organizations to optimize every part of their customers’ experience, from advertising and retail to innovation and beyond. According to the Startup, its main product, Predict, is an artificial intelligence that predicts customer reactions with 95% accuracy. It is worth noting that the company’s current portfolio includes Facebook, TikTok and Ikea.
By integrating VisualEyes’ AI models and Loceye’s technologies such as camera-assisted eye and face detection, Neurons’ products will offer an additional level of usability. Accuracy will be increased, as will the speed at which new AI predictive models are created. Kostas Alexoglou, co-founder of VisualEyes and Loceye, commented that the combination of their know-how has the power to overturn the way brands do business today and in the future, stating that they are excited to see how this innovative collaboration will evolve, as he described it.
VisualEyes, with co-founders Dimitris Raptis and Konstantinos Xanthopoulos, began in 2017 to provide UX/UI designers, market researchers, product managers and marketers with a faster and more practical way to evaluate digital content and optimize conversion, while offering accurate eye-tracking predictions over the internet, while its services are supported by Loceye’s technology. Its clientele includes leading companies such as Airbnb, Microsoft, Spotify, IBM and Mailchimp, and is generally aimed at various companies, digital agencies and freelancers.
Founded in 2018 and with only 10 employees, Loceye also leverages web-based eye-tracking features, enabling designers and marketers to test hundreds of campaign plans, with minimal cost and time resources, before launching their official marketing campaigns, thus further refining the audience and scope of interest.
