EMEAstartups.com is an online news portal trying to bridge the gap between startups coming from the region of Europe, Middle East and Africa and the rest of the world.

While the “startup movement” in the region is picking up at the moment and the region has great companies and entrepreneurs to show, international media are paying little attention to this corner of the world. Having started with EMEAgr as the biggest source of information for startups and tech entrepreneurship in Greece we have identified that the main problem for startups when it comes to international media exposure is that there is no service offering news and analyses about the region as a whole in the english language and they can only find visibility through their national media that write in the local language.

EMEAstartups.com focus particularly on companies coming from Southeastern Europe, the Balkans, Middle East and North Africa and aims to offer that media exposure great companies from the region deserve, opening up a new world of customers, users, partnerships, investments and networking opportunities media visibility  goes along side with.
