The amount of 5,9 million dollars was raised in a Series A round by SimplyInsured, a startup which helps small businesses compare and purchase employee health insurance plans. The process was led by Polaris Partners and had the participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Altair.VC, Corazon Capital, and a series of individual investors. SimplyInsured not only lets small companies compare rates on health insurance, but also allows them to administer plans on its platform, avoiding a… ton of paperwork.
