CNC North was established in 2005. Two of the original three owners had 40-plus years of experience designing and building Bryant Grinders. In 2008, the company built its first new internal “strut grinder” for the aeronautics industry, incorporating its proprietary hydrostatic slide design on a solid granite base. Today, nearly 20 CNC North new machines are in operation, supporting military, aerospace, and aeronautics industries. The largest of these machines weighs in at 80,000 lbs (36,000 kgm). The company continues supporting the global bearing and automotive industries’ remanufacturing, modernizing, upgrading, and servicing their Bryant grinding machines.
