MIT Enterprise Forum Greece: 25 Startups in the First-Ever Local Competition’s Semifinals

MIT Enterprise Forum Greece, after receiving a total of 80 applications for the first-ever MITEF Greece Startup Competition, announced the 25 semifinalists selected to advance to the next round.

“The selection process was extremely competitive and companies spanned a diverse range of disciplines. With startups in Internet & Web, Biotechnology & Medicine, Software, Transportation, Telecommunications, Computer & Electronics Hardware, and Energy, we are excited with not just the promise of these exciting new technologies, but also the passion of the Greek entrepreneurs who have participated in our competition”, MITEF Greece says in a press announcement.

Semifinalists are now starting a 3 month period of intensive mentoring, with their assigned local and international mentors, and workshops, that will further their startup goals, such as: Perfect Pitch, Legal Matters, Marketing, Communication, Growth Strategies & Finance, Tax, and Human Resources. MITEF Greece’s local and international strategic partners  –POTAMITISVEKRISFoley & Lardner LLP, EY, V+O Communication, HayGroup and Plano & Simple– will run those extensive workshops.

During this period participants will have a unique opportunity to improve their business skills, gain hands-on knowledge and valuable input, as well as network in Greece and abroad.
