Sequoia Capital invested $16M at Akosha

The amount of 16 million dollars was invested from Sequoia Capital at Akosha, a messaging platform that connects customers directly to businesses. With the new capital, the Indian startup plans to hire 200 new software engineers and product managers in order to improve its technology to handle hundreds of customer chats at a time. It has 130 companies as customers, among them the e-commerce giant Snapdeal and telecom Aircel. The total funds that Akosha has raised to date is something more than $21,6 million.
