FlexThis, the fast-growing e-mobility marketplace and spin-off of Greece’s pioneering bike subscription service bFlex, has secured a €100,000 bridge round through a SAFE (Simple Agreement for Future Equity). The round was again coordinated by Investing for Purpose (IFP) and includes new participation from high-profile investors such as Lars Rasmussen (co-founder of Google Maps), and Ester Martinez & Tejasvi Mohan Ram, via their investment arm MintStreet. Long-time supporter Helidoni Group also returned to join this round.

FlexThis enables vendors to list their fleets for rental, monthly leasing, direct sales, and guided bike tours, giving them the tools to diversify revenue and maximize utilization. The platform has already transformed Greece’s fragmented e-mobility space and is now scaling across Europe.

We’ve built FlexThis to empower local vendors while fighting transportation pollution,” said Robbert van der Meer, CEO and founder of FlexThis. “This new round allows us to double down on product innovation and focus on international expansion, backed by investors who believe in our impact and market potential. I am truly privileged to be backed by such a strong group of experienced investors.”

Traction at a Glance:

  • 59 vendors onboarded, including local shops and Greece’s largest distributors
  • Over 1,000 unique products, ranging from bicycles to e-scooters and electric microcars
  • Active in Greece, Belgium and Germany
  • 85% quarter-over-quarter organic growth

What’s Next:

  • Launch of a custom-built platform in July 2025, tailored for scale and automation
  • Introduction of new features to strengthen vendor offerings, expand business models, and enhance operational security
  • Rollout of AI-integrations aimed at transforming how vendors manage inventory, engage customers, and grow revenue
  • Strategic focus on international growth, with new markets and partnerships in the pipeline, including a partnership launch with Athens International Airport this July

“FlexThis is solving a complex coordination problem in urban mobility by building a platform that aligns incentives across fragmented vendors, users and infrastructure. Their model empowers local vendors and makes clean transportation more accessible, which is exactly the kind of scalable impact we need across Europe and beyond.”
Lars Rasmussen, Co-founder of Google Maps and Panathēnea.

“FlexThis shows what’s possible when purpose and performance align,” said Markos Komondouros, Partner at Investing for Purpose. “We’re happy to continue supporting the company’s expansion with innovative financing models and long-term investor relationships.”
