This program can bring them to light so that they can secure financing. I am sure that there are already good results from the early implementation of the programme and we expect even more results. We are here and we encourage the EBRD to seek closer cooperation with the national institutions.” G. Tsakiris mentioned in his speech.

The head of the EBRD in Greece and Cyprus Andreea Moraru emphasized that “We are extremely happy to launch the Star Venture programme in Greece. The country has a very dynamic ecosystem with high-quality and promising companies, many accelerators and a promising investment community. However, we recognize that there are still challenges for startups such as the difficulty in accessing funding and growing their sales, and we are here to support them.
