theLMSapp at Apps World North America 2014’s Startup Zone in San Francisco

theLMSapp, a startup coming from Athens, Greece, has been selected for the Apps World North America 2014 Startup Zone. The conference and exhibition will take place in Moscone Center, San Francisco on February 5 and 6, 2014.

The solution that theLMSapp develops is able to turn any existing LMS website into a native tablet application. The application targets education sector (Universities, Colleges, Schools) and corporate training (any company with an LMS installation). With the application, e-learners no longer need to open a desktop or a laptop computer to access their courses, their e-learning schedule or check forums and messages you exchange with their tutor or their fellow students.

Moodle was selected as the first LMS to be supported due to its high popularity worldwide and so far theLMSapp has gained significant traction offering its solution to a few big companies and banks in Greece.

Apps World will be returning to North America in 2014 for two days of engagement and high level insight and discussion around one of the largest growing industries – mobile apps. With over 80.00 developers, mobile marketers, mobile operators, device manufacturers, platform owners and industry professionals expected for 11 different targeted workshop tracks, speed meeting, 1-1 meetings, parties, tackling a spectrum of issues across the app ecosystem. The event will also include 5 free to attend developer workshop tracks and a free exhibition with over 250 exhibitors.

At this year’s Apps World North America as well as the general Start-up Zone there is a number of different Start-up Zones focusing on key niche industry areas.
