ScreenTag Launches Crowdfunding Campaign to Bring Your Business Cards in Your Mobile

The development team of ScreenTag, an online service for smartphones aiming to change the way business professionals and ordinary people are exchanging their contact information, announced a fundraising campaign via the international crowdfunding site Indiegogo.com.

ScreenTag’s latest 3.0 version is built from the ground up, with features like support for all left-to-right languages, enhanced visual code definition, easy and secure image code delivery and enhanced capacity for up to 9 million codes along with enhanced privacy and security.

Aiming to raise £2,500 or more over the next 30 days, ScreenTag development team seeks funds to finalise development by integrating all sub-systems developed so far under a central management system that will cut delivery time to subsribers to only a few minutes.

“We have tried hard to make this new version work for everyone with minimal effort, time and cost; no signing-up or smartphone app to download is required to share contact details in a visually rich manner – exactly the way printed paper old-fashioned business cards do, only in a modern digital way”, says Pan. Lountraris, ScreenTag’s development team head, in a press announcement.

Funders have six contribution levels to choose from, each with their own unique perk. From the Basic Edition serving essential contact exchange needs by featuring a generic image at the £5 level to a Lifetime Data Subscription (including one-time setup fee) at the £50 level, the ScreenTag development team is offering the chance to experience the new version before anyone else for the Indiegogo campaign funders.

Additionally, the ScreenTag development team has pledged to offer added features with the service if it is able to exceed the funding goal. If £15,000 is reached, automatic image installation will be added for the three major smartphone platforms (Android, iOS and Windows) and if £50,000 is reached a companion native app will be developed for users who do not wish to have ScreenTags displayed in their lock or home screens.

The ScreenTag Indiegogo fundraising campaign runs through March 25, 2015.
