Samsung for the second time in a row emerges as a major player in IDC’s MarketScape 2022 supplier ratings for Unified endpoint management (UEM).

IDC evaluated in the MarketScape report the UEM software vendors on the basis of whether they have the appropriate UEM suite to offer device and application management functions for desktop and laptop computers, as well as for mobile devices, but also whether the revenue of the UEM product exceeded 5 million dollars in 2021.
The report notes that “Businesses need to integrate Samsung Knox Suite (consisting of Knox Manage, Knox E-FOTA, Knox Mobile Enrollment, Knox Platform for Enterprise and Knox Asset Intelligence) into their system if they use Samsung devices extensively in their environment, including smartphones and tablets.
Organizations with specific usage requirements in the field of resilient mobile devices, such as remote troubleshooting, location tracking, and device special purpose deployment – should consider Knox Suite, either as a primary or as an additional UEM product across the IT environment.
