Run4More, the first free mobile application in Greece (Android & IOS), that motivates and rewards its users with points for their physical activity, declares ready to represent Greece, in the Greek mission at the Mobile World Congress 2022.
The Mobile World Congress 2022 is one of the most important appointments of the global digital technology market, which will take place in Barcelona, between February 28 and March 3, 2022.MWC 2022 takes place at the Fira Gran Via exhibition centre in Barcelona and this year is expected to host more than 60,000 visitors. Its conference events are estimated to be attended by more than 400 speakers, including some of the industry’s biggest names globally. At the same time, within the framework of the exhibition, 4YFN is organized, which is one of the most important events for the field of startups internationally.
The organization of the Greek mission, which consists of more than 42 companies and organizations active in the field of innovation, is coordinated by the Hellenic Association of Innovative Applications Companies (SEKEE), the Ministry of Digital Governance and Enterprise Greece.
With the vision of increasing the physical activity of users and adopting a more active lifestyle, Run4More aims to provide the right incentives, combining internal and external motivation, to the entire population, in order to adopt a more active lifestyle, adding sports to their daily activity.
Using machine learning mechanisms, the app will tailor rewards to different types of users, match offers with their interests and preferences, and maximize their likelihood of motivation and dedication.
By raising awareness about the benefits of physical activity, Run4More brings users and affiliates closer together, creating an ecosystem of mutual reward and promotion of physical activity as a pleasant and beneficial activity.
In the context of the presentation of the trial version of the application, we organize our first competition at the conference site and invite visitors to test the application and report any problems that arise during its use.
The first test competition in Greece is expected to take place in the near future.
In the course of Run4More so far, a particularly important role was played by the acceleration programs of ARCHIMEDES of the University of Athens, YESS Incubation of the University of Ioannina, Orange Grove and MIT Enterprise Greece.
