“Insurtech Fund II“, which plans to invest in European Startups in the process of financing the first and second cycles with inflows ranging from 5 to 10 million euros, was created by the Madrid-based venture capital fund management company Mundi Ventures. “Insurtech Fund II” will focus on the insurance sector and cover insurtech, as well as Startups operating in the fintech, deeptech and healthtech sectors.
This fund currently has 6 unicorns in its palmare, including Wefox (Berlin), Klarna (Stockholm), Job&Talent (Madrid) and Shift Technology (Paris).
“We are investing up to 80% in Europe, as there we have found excellent companies, both in the insurtech sector, and on platforms that are willing to create an insurance layer, fintech platforms, human resources or mobility platforms.”, said Javier Santiso, CEO and founding general partner of Mundi Ventures.
