Minds technologies and environmental sciences, a spin-off, was created by HCMR.” This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Development and Investments, Christos Dimas, at an event for the research project CLAIM (Cleaning Litter by Developing and Applying Innovative Methods in European Seas).

As the Deputy Minister states in a post on social media, “Plastic-free seas“. This is the goal of the European research project CLAIM (Cleaning Litter by Developing and Applying Innovative Methods in European Seas) which was funded by Horizon 2020 and is a consortium of 21 partners from 17 different countries and is successfully coordinated by the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research ( HCMR).

CLAIM is an important basis for the adaptation and adoption of new policies and measures aimed at sustainable development and through its implementation research results have been obtained with a significant impact on issues of marine and coastal protection.

Now the spin-off Minds technologies and environmental sciences has been created by the HCMR which exemplifies the effective link between research and innovative entrepreneurship.
