Microsoft and Marathon VC support domestic startups

Guided by previous successful joint actions, Microsoft Greece, Cyprus and Malta is launching a new partnership with Marathon Venture Capital, aiming at the further development of advanced-stage startups, which have secured significant funding and are active in the B2B Enterprise sector.
 
Specifically, as part of the partnership, Microsoft will include scaleups in the “Microsoft for Startups” program, following a proposal by Marathon VC, to provide them with access to technology, technical guidance and business development support globally.  
 
In addition, Microsoft will provide training on cloud computing and application development, as well as its experienced executives who wish to offer consulting guidance to the companies that integrate in the program.
 
Marathon Venture Capital is the most important funding for technological startups in Greece and manages fundings totalling 100 million euros. Its investments include Netdata, Hack The Box, Cube RM, Lenses, Causaly and Learnworlds, while its partners have been founders or initial investors in companies such as Taxibeat and Workable.
 
With the new partnership, Microsoft Greece will expand the circle of startups, as well as the overall dynamics of the “Microsoft for Startups” program. Already, in the one year of the program, 18 startups benefit from the Program and receive comprehensive support, aiming at their extroversion and international development
