Practical training of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at the premises of the Science Center and Technology Museum – NOESIS and cooperation on issues of research, dissemination and communication of science and technological developments provides for a memorandum of understanding signed by the Rector of the Aristotle University Professor Nikos Papaioannou and the president of NOESIS Michael Sigalas.
The Memorandum also provides for the cooperation of the two institutions for the communication of science in cultural structures and the general public, as well as for the organization of events, conferences and actions related to innovative technologies, digital applications, Startups, etc. Also, the participation of NOESIS in the activities of the ESERO (European Space Education Resource Office) of the European Space Agency in Greece is foreseen, with the aim of highlighting the importance of Space in modern society and economy.
“We strengthen the cooperation between the two institutions, which has existed and has been excellent for several years”, said the Rector of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, while Mr. Sigalas spoke about the “common orientation of the scientific literacy of the citizens and especially of the youth.”
