Kiddo raises 16 million dollars to monitor pediatric patients

Good Parents Inc. with the kiddo brand , a San Francisco-based Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) provider and pediatric patients care platform, raised 16 million dollars in first-round funding led by Clearlake Capital and with the participation of (Wavemaker 360, Techstars, Family Office Icons).

The company intends to use the funds to double the size of its teams in the US and Asia, expand its partnerships with health systems and providers, and obtain FDA certification.

Kiddo is an RPM platform for pediatric patients with acute and chronic conditions such as asthma, autism, diabetes and congenital heart disorders. Kiddo monitors key vital signs through five clinical quality sensors that monitor heart rate, temperature, oxygen, sweat and movement. Of course there is also a mobile app that allows parents and carers to monitor and understand their child’s daily health needs, track health reports and care protocols, and receive alerts and recommendations.
