Hack The Box works with CREST, the international non-profit cybersecurity accreditation and certification body, to support CREST member professionals to develop their offensive security skills. The two organizations will provide testing laboratories tailored to people who plan to take tests for CREST penetration testing and red teaming.
“We look forward to working closely with the CREST team and members to develop the CREST learning and skills development community. The labs will have content similar to that assessed in the CREST test but not the same and will be provided on HTB’s unparalleled gamified and fully intuitive platform. This means that using Hack The Box will help guide those who want to pass the test. This will be just the beginning of a long-term partnership, with more and exciting projects to be planned and announced soon.”, said Nikos Fountas, Operations Manager at Hack The Box.
“Hack The Box will offer our members an innovative and interactive approach to developing skills and competences. The HTB laboratories will align with CREST’s internationally recognised testing framework, with laboratories at all levels – from induction to advanced – available in the vast HTB and CREST community.Accredited CREST organisations will have free access to the introductory-level laboratories, with the possibility of gaining access to a wider set of laboratories, at a reduced cost, as a result of this new collaboration. This will not only provide better access to education for the CREST exams, but also helps to create a greater sense of community among all of our members globally.”, noted Rowland Johnson, president of CREST.
