Elikonos 2 SCA SICAR, the growth VC of Equifund, announces its tenth investment of 7 million euros and the acquisition of a minority stake in Select Fish.
Select Fish is active in the field of fish processing and packaging and is the largest distributor of salmon in the domestic market. The portfolio of Select Fish customers consists of super market chains and fish traders both in Greece and abroad. Select Fish has long-term partnerships with the largest fish farming companies in Greece and abroad, has been active in Greece since 1995 and employs 120 people.
Elikonos 2 SCA SICAR, a venture capital fund of 85 million euros, aims to finance developing Greek Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Elikonos 2 SCA SICAR is funded by the EquiFund Business Holdings Fund, an investment platform of the Greek State and the European Investment Fund (EIF), by the Hellenic Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBR) European Investment Bank (EIB) and other institutional and private investors.
Elikonos 2 has already invested in the companies: ComSys, ETPA Packaging, OJOO Limited, Eurocatering, Mega Gyros, Andromeda SeaFood, Youth Lab, Rodoula.
