The first training program for blockchains and cryptocurrencies in Greek Universities is a fact!
The teaching program entitled “Blockchain Economics: introduction to cryptocurrencies” is carried out on the initiative of Panteion University, within the framework of the Center for Training and Lifelong Learning.
The main objective of the program is to present in an understandable and simple way the innovations that have emerged from the application of blockchain technology in the field of economics.
The program has duration of 3 months, it’s entirely online and offers the following 3 Specializations. Firstly, Finance and Cryptoeconomics Accounting. Secondly,
Blockchain Technology and its Applications in the Economy and finally Investments – Portfolio Management in Cryptoeconomics (trading).
Program Description
The program is the first academic program in Greece in the field of Cryptoeconomics. The main objective of the program is to present in an understandable and simple way the innovations that have emerged from the application of blockchain technology in the field of economics.

The Program is designed to describe the basic and introductory concepts of the world of cryptocurrencies, in a simple way, without requiring special financial or financial knowledge, so that the content of the courses is easily understood by a wide audience, regardless of learning or professional history.
