DEI: e-bike Festival

The first major festival in Greece exclusively for bicycles with electric assistance, is a fact. Modern models of electric bicycles for everyone, bicycles that meet different transportation needs, are gathered and travel in 7 cities. DEI e-bike Festival is fully identified with DEI’s green transformation strategy, sustainable development goals and the company’s responsibility towards society and the environment.

Starting from one of the most famous cycling cities, Trikala, the original festival of DEI, will travel to Larissa, Kos, Kalamata, Tripoli, Thessaloniki and will be completed in Athens, giving people of all ages, regardless of physical condition, the opportunity to take a step closer to the future and get to know the transportation by electric bicycle.

Through the local, two-day events, the visitors of DEI e-bike Festival will discover for the first time in person, the most interesting electric bicycles of the Greek and international market.

More than 40 models, from 5 different categories of bicycle, road, city, folding, trekking and mountain, will be available for testing in real-world conditions and a specially constructed track.

As part of the festival, there will also be special actions to learn safe driving and cycling technique for children 6 to 12 years old, setting the foundations for more cyclists and responsible citizens of tomorrow. For the DEI e-bike Festival, apart from the “green”, the “positive” energy is also important. Visitors will have the opportunity to take part in games – competitions and win useful prizes.

The team of DEI e-bike Festival will be there to provide answers to any questions, not only about electric bicycles, but also about all the new, digital, easy and green energy products of the company such as GreenPass, MyHomeOnline, MyEnergyCoach and e-metering.

DEI e-bike Festival is coming on the weekend of 13-14 November 2021, from 11:00 to 20:00 with the support of the Municipality of Trikala.

The DEI e-bike Festival is implemented in collaboration with the organization “Cities for Cycling”, a member of the European Cyclists Federation and the experienced team of the information portal → mbike.gr, with more than 20 years of know-how in the field of cycling. All events are held with the support of Municipalities and Local Bodies. The events observe all safety measures and the health protocol for Covid-19.
