The new investment fund Karma Ventures from investors Marqus Uudam, Kristjan Laanemaa and Tommi Uhari will have its headquarters in Estonia and raised 40 mln euros from Ambient Sound Investments and the Baltic Innovation Fund.
Consultants of Karma Ventures will be the two founding engineers of Skype, Ahti Heinla and Jaan Tallinn, while the first late seed and first round funds will take place next spring in European technology startups from all areas outside of games.
