Foodpanda, the global mobile food delivery marketplace, announced a new financing ro
und of 100 million dollars, led by Goldman Sachs and the participation of Rocket Internet.
Since its launch in 2012, Foodpanda has raised over $310 million. With the recent investment, the company is planning to further expand its own delivery activities and improve overall customer experience in 40 countries across five continents.
Foodpanda focuses on emerging markets, is active in over 580 cities around the world, operating in 12 of the largest 20 metropolises, and partnering with over 60.000 restaurants.
