The amount of 9 million dollars as a Series B funding round was raised from Flatiron School. The whole procedure was led by Thrive Capital, CRV and Matrix.
Flatiron School is an educational platform aimed at getting young kids and adults comfortable with programming. The idea behind the start-up is that anyone, young or old, can learn to code over the course of 12 weeks. Flatiron School says that 99% of it’s students are placed in technology jobs at major tech companies.
