Deliveroo, the London-based restaurant food delivery service managed to raise £66 million in a Series D investment round that was led by DST Global and Greenoaks Capital and had the participation of Accel, Hummingbird Ventures and Index Ventures.
Deliveroo has already partnered with over 5,000 restaurants worldwide that don’t typically provide delivery and is currently available in 30 UK cities and 20 other international cities, mostly in Europe.
The next step for the UK startup is making its way into Asia and Australia, launching its service in Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Melbourne and Sydney.
